Today I've been doing lots and lots of stuff. The best part was my lunchour workout! I just thought I'd give you an insight in how I have the energy to have a parttime job, run a samm business and study full time.

Well the secret to having lots of energy is good nutrition. Regretably today the soil where a large portion of out food is produced is drained, which results in less nutrients in our foods. That means we need to eat a larger quantity in order to get all the nutrients the body needs. However in doing so, you´ll have an abundance of calories. As you can see, the equation is very unbalanced. So how do I solve this dilemma?

Well, in the beginning of this year I got in touch with Herbalife and startet to use the products. I have used them every day since. I have so much energy, I lost those annoying extra few pounds, my skin has cleared up and so many more positive effects.

So here's a typical day for me, foodwise:

Breakfast: A nice Herbalife shake. Keeps me full all the way til noon, I get lots and lots of energy to take on the day's work and I my urge to snack is gone.

Before my workout: Same shake as for breakfast.

During my workout: Mixed with my water I have H3O Pro, just to keep the waterlevel in body at a good level when I workout. It helps me to get the most out of the hour.

After my workout: Same shake as breakfast. (comes in several different flavours, and you can ad fruits and berries, so I promise you, you wont get bored!)

Afternoon snack: A protein bar / crisp bread with avocado and herbal tea. which ever I feel like.

Dinner: A nice dish with fish/meat and lots of veggies. On the side, pasta, potatoes, rice, bulgur couscous... the options are endless.

So, thats how I go about getting all the nutrition I need!

Today is the big day!

Hi!

Woke up early today. 5:30 am actually. Couldn't go back to sleep. I am so extremely nervous 'cus today at 10 am I have an appointment to do my very first tattoo.

I woke up because I had a dream about tattoos. I dreamed that I was a few minutes late for my appointment, and as a punishment they tattooed my whole arm! Is that a weird dream or what!

I wasn't nervous 'til I spoke to my mum yesterday. This is how that conversation went (btw she is con-tattoos. Very much so!)

I: Mum, just so you know, I'm getting my first tattoo tomorrow.
M: Seriously?! Where??
I: On my arm, just below my elbow.
M: It seriously hurts there, you know that?
I: What do you know about that? You don't know that, you don't have tattoos.
M: Well, your aunt has one there, remember? She told me it hurts like S**IT there.
I: Thanks mum, I feel so much better now. Couldn't you just be glad I warned you?
M It's your dad you need to warn.
I: I know. I don't have the guts to do that.
M: Mhm. There you go.

Very soothing conversation. thank you mum for being so supportive. Hahaha.

Well, I'm going to Gothenburg this weekend, so you won't see the tat 'til sunday/monday. If I don't do a crappy Iphone update. Well the Update itself won't be more crappy than the normal post, however the photo will be crappy. Hopefully it'll be because of the camera on my iphone and not because of the quality of the tattoo.

Hi folks!

Long time no see. No excuses in store for you. However I can give you a small uppdate on what I'm up to this week. First work, two days. Then comes the big day. friday. First I have an appointment at 10 am. I'm goint to Fish Eye. These guys seem seriously talented! So, on friday I'm loosing my tattoo virginity. Wihoo!

u thte fun doesn't stop there. When I'm done at the studio, my brother and his wife are picking me up and then we are going on a road trip to Gothenburg to see P!nk!! I'm so excited!!

The Royal Wedding.

Today the Swedish crownprincess Victoria marries her Daniel. This is an historical event, in Swedish history a female head of state is very rare in itself and the fact that she now gets to marry a man of the people, a commoner if you may, is unheard of. Actually the last one to do so is also the oldest living Bernadotte and he actually lost his prince title when he married. Well, to be honest, in my heart I do like the Swedish royalties, they're fascinating and Victoria seems to be a genuinely honest and lovely person. However, if I disregard my fascination of the royalties, I am pro-republic. On the other hand, I do follow the wedding on tv today, I don't want to miss out on all the beautiful ladies with their stunning dresses and all the handsome gentlemen. Most stunning of them all, as should be, is Victoria. Just look at this picture from last night. Just look at that dress! Oh, I would give a lot to have that dress!

Long time, no see

Hi folks! It's been a while, haven't it? Well, I'm busy in school and with life in general so I decided I needed to make some priorities. However, today I took the day off. My first day off in about two weeks.

Actually I'm doing something fun today, I'm going on an art exhibition by the famous bloger Anna Ileby who rund the blog Anna Ritar. (I don't know how to link to her blog when I'm bloging from my phone...) however I didn't check what time it opens before I left. I was an hour early so I'm just waiting outside in my car. They must think I'm a weird /crazy person.

I'm also doing this on my own. My best friend already had plans, Mr E is working and everybody else I asked also had plans. It's actually a bit scary. I'm not good at doing stuff like this on my own... Well wish me luck!

Yesterdays makeup and do.

Yesterdays makeup consisted of my everyday makup this spring. A really nice foundation, some pink blush, and my new favourite eye shadows/glimmers. The shadows are two shades of champagne, one bright and one that is more beige. I'll tell you all about them some other time (No, they're not ID!!)

When I woke up yestersday I felt like braiding my hair. (the day before yesterday I saw some really inspirational pictures...) so thats what I did. It looks nice but is rather simple to do. You just do to two dutch braids from your fringe to your neck, when you reach the neck you just braid the rest of the hair like an ordinary braid. Take the ends (in other words, the "ordinary" braid, after the dutch braid) and pin it along sinde the oposite dutch braid. Piece of cake.

I just ordered these lovelies from Nelly. I'm a shoe-oholic, I know! These will be perfect this spring with a cool tee and a pair of skinny pants! Oh, I shamelessly borrowed the picture from the blog My Shoebox.
If you sometimes feel my style is somewhat eclectic, you're right. I just can't seem to settle for one style, I like having the option of many styles so that I can go for the style I feel like every day. Today it might be a 50's style with an hourglass shaped dress, tomorrow it might be more modern, like in the case of these shoes. I sometimes admire all the blogers out there who seem to have found one style and then rocks it to perfection, well I just have to realise I'm not one of them.

So, leaving my little style-explanation behind, let's just hope Nelly is a quick shipper!

Now I'm going to make myself a cup of tea that will be enjoyed on my balcony, in the sun!

Play day!

Yay!

Today is The Day! My brother, his wife and two kids are coming to visit me. Actually I've planned this for quite some time, I was so cunning I bought tickets to a place here called Leklandet (roughly translated to playland) for the kids as christmas gifts. Haha now they had to come! =)

So, now I'm going to change into my workout outfit since adults can play to, we are "supervising the kids". Isn't that perfect? All those parents who have fun but are to stiff to say so, can just say "well, s/he couldn't go through the maze him/herself".

Well, I'm not a stiff, so I'll just admit it, I'm going to have superfun! The best thing is that they aer staying until tomorrow! <3 <3

Hi folks!

I know I'm always making excuses as to why I don't blog more frequently. Here's anotherone. I have a huge amount of schoolwork this entier spring, actually until mid-june. I also work quite a lot (so I don't have to take a loan to get through school...). In order to have the energy to do all this I also spend a lot of time at the gym.

I just wanted to tell you this so you don't wonder why I'm not as active as I should be (and want to be). I do however miss you guys and I do intend to write an entry every now and again. I also feel I should figure out what I want this blog to be about, from the beginning I wanted it to be a makeup blog, but as you've all noticed it's not at all about that anymore.

My very very very best friend Emma turns 25 today! Hipp hipp hoorayy!!! She has been my best friend for about 8 years now. I don't know what I would do without her. Even though we now live in different cities we still have daily contact. We ventilate, laugh, yell and gossip like two sisters. Actually we've decided that we are sisters. As a bonus she is Gorgeous!

My day in pictures.

Hi loved ones!

Since I bought a card reader yesterday I thought I'd celebrate it today by document my days in pictures. It began with anxiety.Today the next course in psychology started, C-level. This means I have a big job ahead of me... It continued with some more anxiety when I had to hand in a paper that was due today. I was really not satisfied with it. I thought it was okay when I wrote it, but when reading it today I quickly realised it's not the best idea to write a paper late at night on a caffein high... but I didn't have a time to rewrite the whole thing...

My classmate Patrik read through it aswell... this is his reaction... Well, he hadn't even finished his paper so I was laughing at him aswell.

The I got home. Did my laundry. Wanting to go outside. The sun was shining and it looked perfect! The factory-looking tall building is not considered to be ugly or disfiguring to the cityline. In fact it's loved by virtually everyone who lives here. The reason- they roast coffee and the most fantastic smell is hovering over the city.

Me, in the sun. Yes I might be a bit narcissistic, but hey- it's my blog.

I also found some lipglosses in my schoolbag. The girl likes her glosses pink..
Then I actually took a walk downtown. This is a canal that runs just below my flat.
Eventually I got home, took my workout outfit on and went to the gym. I think I'm adicted. I really love workingout these days. Every time I go I say to myself like a mantra "Let's F**ing tare this body apart"!!! It actually helps me push myself a little extra.

And now? Well, a shower is LONG overdue....

I just realised I haven't updated since wednesday, it seriously feels like I don't have the same sence of time as the calendar does. Where do all the hours hide?? Hi peeps!

Today I'm at the uni as yesterday, but today is a seriously much better day that yesterday! LAst night I spent the entire evening going through my favourite blogs. I have lots and lots of favourite blogs, but I rarely have the time to look at all of them . I got so inspired! It really gave me a the kick I needed. So today I woke up with an abundance of energy, took a long hot shower, fixed my hair and makeup, threw on my favourite summerdress with another, thight dress underneath, perfected the look with a warm cardigan and my biggest and coziest scarf and my red boots. Today I feel reday to take over the world!

So my friends, today we take over the world and fill it with love and fluffy white and pink stuff, okay?

Hi,

just wanted to give you a small update on what I'm up to. I'm at school trying to get started on my paper... One of the books that this paper is supposed to be based on is the one in the picture. It's called "den översvämmade hjärnan", in english The Overflowing Brain. I think I'm the living example of what this book is all about today. I'm so tired I feel retarded (not that there is anything wrong with people with mental disabilities, but it's just not my usual state. Not in my opinion anyways...)

How does one get started on a serious paper when one only thinks of things like 'bed', sleep', 'hot shower' etc etc? wowee, this'll be an interesting day!

The ideal body.

It's not difficult to get the "ideal" figure. Not at all! At least not if you have a computer and is somewhat good at retouching the photos. I came across these photos of Ayda Field, Robbie Williams girlfriend. They are rather similar, aren't they? Yet not at all. I get so frustrated by this. The thought of girls and young women looking at the retouched photos and thining they must starve themselves to look like that really makes me upset and angry! It's not like she's not gorgeous in the more natural looking photo, right? Yet we have a society where the ideal woman is so skinny that it often come at a serious physical and mental cost. Whats wrong with natural and healthy bodies?! KappAhl (a Swedish clothing chain) recently had to remove and replance their manequins because calculations showed that if women would look like them they would even have a menstruation! I'm actually so upset right now I can't even put it into words. We should be proud of our bodies, not ashamed!

I'm going home to my parents over the weekend, which is good news because my camera is there so hopefully there'll be an increase of photos here on the blog. I'm going home to work on a few different projects/places and I'll hopefully squeeze in some studying aswell since I have a paper that is due next friday and I haven't really read the litterature yet... well it's only about 550 pages, so I'll do that in a giffy... right...

A happy camper!

Oh my gosh, my life is sweet dudes! Especially today! I almost had a panic attack yesterday because I ran out of breakfast. Now, I know you´re thinking, well just go and get some more from the grocery store, well it's not that kind of breakfast. Actually I started to use Herbalife a while back.

Itroduction to Herbalife, for those of you who haven't heard of it before:

Herbalife is a company that produces and retails nutritional products. The product I have for breakfast is called Formula 1. It's a pouder that you mix with milk (in my case low lactose milk, since I´m lactose intolerant) and it contains all the minerals, vitamins and micronutritions you need. I also mix in som extra protein powder since I don't eat enough meat to ensure I consume the recomended daily intake. I must say, I really didn't believe I would notice any change - but wowee! I have som much more energy now and my blood sugar has stabilised (which means I am no longer grumpy or in any way in a bad mood). As a bonus I don't feel the slightest urge to eat any candy or sweets. I can definitely say I wouldn't want to go one day without these products ever again. And as a nice bonus I lost some weight and now it's just fun to go to the gym to work out, instead of an absoulte drag- as it used to feel!

Back on track, so yesterday I used up the last powder of Formula 1 I had, but luckily today my new order was delivered, so I am once again a happy camper! Oh, and Herbalife also have lots of other products, so if you are interested, just send me an e-mail, post a comment here or if you have my number give me a call or send me a text and I'll tell you more about it- you won't regret it! I don't!

Peculiar.

You know what is peculiar? Life. One day you're feeling blue, nothing is going right. The next day a million doors open up and opportunities you've never even considered stare you in the face. This is what have happened to me these past few months. And I love my life now, how could I not when there are so many exciting things going on?

For one I am now studying at the University of Karlstad, I also work part time and as a bonus I started up a small(ish) side project which I am so thrilled about. It could get big, you see. I'll tell you all about the project some other time, when the first results of my labour comes. I did, however, sum up how many hours of work a week all these three combined are. A staggering 70 hours. This means the blog is somewhat suffering. Not fair, I know. And to add to the matter, my camera is at my parents house so I cant take any decent photos.

Anyhow, I got a fairly interesting e-mail during the weekend, so maybe there'll be a few interesting posts at the end of next week, or maybe the week thereafter, depending on a parcel that is to be sent to me.

However, now I really got to get my ass out of bed, work is waiting.

hey folks!

I hope your christmas is filled with joy, happiness, family and friends, lots of food and fun! I had a blast last night. My whole family got together and had fun. I got a christmas tree, a wee small one. (not plastic- a real one!) Since it was my aunt who gave it to me I knew it was something funny about it. She's got so many tricks up her sleeve. It took me a while before I figured it out. She had prepped the decorations. Inside the decorations she had put money! Yes please, I'll take two of those next year! =0)

Tomorrow it's back to work. A lovely 13h work day. The sales begins. So, for a few days now I'll probably be more abcent than usual.

Here's a tip for those of you who find it hard to stop shoping. Do what I did today. Look out the window. It looks like it's minus 20 degrees C. Dress accordingly. Go outside. Realise it is only about minus 5. Go shoping. I promise you'll be super effective! Otherwise you'll die of heat stroke.

Woweee. Time to get busy. Lucky me, I got four hours of sleep so I'm pumped with energy. (warning- irony!)

Later folks! And don't stress out because of christmas. If you haven't got a spotless home or the absolutely perfect gifts- Santa will come either way. Just breath and calm down every once in a while - let that be your christmas present for yourself.

Today my car was in a playful mood. Twice. It wanted to play Fort Knox. If you haven't heard about this game before, let me fill you in. It's cold. The air is too humid. The doors of the car freeze. It's impossible to open. Then comes the twist. The car decides I am allowed in and opens the door. The back door. So, there I was, crawling around in the car. Fun. Superfun.

The second time the car want's to 'up' the game and only opens the trunk. Fortunately it's a station wagon, but still it was a funny sight. I might be a rather small(ish) person, but I'm not flexible! Not at all. More like watching a freezer with legs trying to get into a car.... As a bonus, this time around I had an audience since it was when I was leaving work. The most important thing is that I won! In your face, car!

It's nice to have a car with a sence of humour, but Fort Knox, come on! Come up with something more creative next time!

Knitted sweater.

I have a knitted sweater. I love it, it's been my favourite sweater for years. Unfortunately it's torn. A strand has come loose. I'm afraid to attempt to mend it. What if I fail and the whole sweater comes undone?

Maybe some day I'll realise I'm the sweater and that I have it in me to mend it without damaging it. Maybe the mending is what makes it pretty again, even though the stiches will be in plain sight. Maybe the mended parts are what makes life worth the effort. Maybe life is more like a quilt than a knitted sweater that comes undone. Every new episode in life is another piece of the quilt.

Or maybe I'm just rambling because I don't want to go back to my school work...

Bum parking

Today I've parked my bum in the basement at my university. I'm working on an individual assignment. As always I should have started to read the course litterature a while back, but hey, better late than never, right?!

An hour or two longer today and I should have finished the part I set out to finish today. Am I not the most dedicated student? (I know what you're all thinking, NO you're not. That's okay, I have the same scentence spinning around in my mind like a never ending matra... But shallenges exists only to be conquered, right?)

Anyhow, regardless, I should get back to work now, so stop interupt me! =)

I just got home. I've been away since 7,30 this morning so I'm tired, but I just have to tell you this before I my meeting with MrDreamland. I told you earlier about the dress, how nice it is and how sad I am it doesn't fit. Well I told MrA about it in the car home. (we haven't seen each other all day and he hadn't read the post). Anyhow I told him the dress is very unstrechy and the waist is to narrow to get over my shoulders.

He then said,- isn't it weird that H&M would make a dress to tight to get on? Are you sure?

- Obviously I'm sure! I've tried!

When we got home I still wanted to show him the dress because it's so cute. And then, magic happened. A zipper appeared! I swear it wasn't there before, but now it was there! And now I can get the dress on. It fits like a glove!! Haleluhja! Now I can go to sleep happy!

Sad, sad news.

I got the dress that I ordered from H&M this morning. It is perfect. It's so sweet. Now the sad sad news. It's not a bit strechy. It's the most unstrechy dress I've ever come across. Now I have to return it and order it in a larger size. Actually I think it fits, only the waist is so tight I can't get the dress over my shoulders, which is rather neccessary if I want it around my waist.

Anyhow, this afternoon my mother and a friend of hers are coming to town and we are going to the movies! Wiihoo! A premiere, I might add.

And I still haven't charged my camera battery so my post are still boring ones without any photos.

This IS a killer hairdo! Everybody, (at least those of you who live in Sweden), run along to KappAhl immediately and buy this diadem! Seriously I've gotten nice comments EVERY single time I've worn it! Today when I got to school, the first thing that happens is that the guy in the coffee shop stares at me. "-Wow, I really like your hair! So nice. It must have taken ages to do?" I had to remind him that I wanted to buy coffee, he kind of just looked at my hair. From all angles.

It sound creepy when I describe it now, which is a shame, because he was really sweet and harmless. And no, it wasn't an excuse to go around me just to look at my ass. He didn't move a bit, he was behind the counter. He just asked me to turn my head so he could see the braid.

And as you can see I'm in a library, which means I should get on with my studying. Later folks.

This is what I've been wearing today. Plus my new black high heels I bought the other day. Woohoo!

The dress comes from Ellos. I bought it in february I think, but today was the first time I ever wore it. I didn't really figure out how to wear it without looking like a poofy princess (the bad kind) until last night. The cardi is from KappAhl and the tights' from H&M. They're really thick, opaque which is nice. That way I can wear skirts and dresses al autumn without catching a cold!

Two weeks ago I was home at my parents house. There I found a stunning pair of shoes at the local shopping mall. Thinking of my economy I sadly didn't buy them. Poor student and all. I regreted the desicion every day for two weeks. Especially since that storechain doesn't have a shop in my town.

However, today I was in a hurry walking past a different shoe store, glanced in their window and lo and behold! there they were! The exact same shoes! Still thinking of my economy I rushed off. AGAIN. I had lunch with a friend, sat there chewing my enchilada, thinking to myself "if I have more than xx money left I'll buy them".

We rushed off to the ATM and Haleluhja! the Lord woke up happy this morning, I did have more than xx left. Off we went to the store and now I am the proud, happy, somewhat shopping-high, owner of a new pair of shoes. (repeating to myself "I did really need a new pair of shoes. I don't have that many pairs of black high heels.")

Oh, and here's a highly unrelated picture of our very own plum tree. This is for you Emma. The whole tree looks like this.... lots of plums. Yummie yummie in my tummie!

Well, tonight MrM's mum and I are going to Gothenburgh to pick MrM up at the airport. Wiiihoo! He's back! This might qualify as the longest two weeks in ages! *happy happy happy*

Hello guys!

I'm sorry I haven't been bloging very much this week. Actually I tried to post twice last night from my iPhone, but for some reason it didn't work.

I haven't had one day off this week since I'm both working part time and studying full time. However on tuesday I have the whole day off! Wii!

I spend last night with the bestest of best friends, namely Emma. We spent the night at her mom's flat because she needed some help with her PC. So Emma tried to fix it and at the same timw we watched the movie Mamma Mia. Twice. Ahaha! What a good movie! We sang along, off pitch of course. We wouldn't have it any other way!

Her mother Eva thought we were crazy when she came home. Well, that opinion soon changed as she started to sing too! At midnight Eva made supper. So way past my bedtime I enjoyed a very nice dinner with some of my favourite people in the world!

This might sound a bit nerdy, well hey! I'm a nerd and proud of it! When I got home from school a very pleasant surprise awaited me in out letter box. Two packages!! One was a very nice bread baking book I'll show you some other time.

The second was the book we use on the course I'm studying at the uni at the moment! Not only is it about time I got started on my reading, I was (and still am) genuinely happy to get it, it's so much fun to study! So this is what my evening concists of. Doesen't it look like fun? Doing Psychological Research written by Nicky Hayes. (no, the text isn't really written backwards on the book, silly you!) Good hair day! Woohoo!

I've been working today. I had a genuinely gooood hairday! Wow, that hasn't happened for ages! The very first customer that I helped today was an old man. He didn't say a word. Didn't look at me, then as he was about to leave he looked up and out of the blue said:

-You are a very very sweet young lady. I wish I was twenty so I could propose to you.

Then he walked away. Wowee, that made my day. The a guy my own age swooched by, stopped, turned around and said:

-I really like your hairdo. Really nice!

Biig smile on my face.

Later a middle aged woman walks up to me, starts to ask me something, and in the middle of the sentence says:

-Your hair is so cute!

As a bonus lots and lots of my collegues gave me heartwarming comments. Now that is a recipe for a goood day! I just wish I was less lazy, if I were, you would see some nice pictures of the do, instead of crappy photobooth pictures.

Boyfriend: Yes I know, but it's different this time. Leaving you here for two weeks alone.

Me: I'll be fine! Don't worry!

Boyfriend: I mean leaving you with the house. Alone. And with all the coocking. Frankly I'm afraid you'll starve to death!

This, my friends, is how you know if you are domestically challenged or not. If your better/worse half is afraid that you'll starve to death whenever s/he is going away for two weeks it's a sure sign you are no Jamie Oliver.
